Our Providence Point group is specifically for PP residents (and other local neighbors) who've lost a spouse, child, parent, sibling, friend. HOW WILL you make it through the so-called "most wonderful time of the year?" This one-time, two hour Saturday meetup is for people, like us, who are grieving the loss of a life.
We'll learn: 1) How to deal with the many emotions that accompany the holiday season. 2) How to navigate long-held traditions that feel different somehow. 3) Helpful tips for deciding which (if any) holiday gatherings are right for you. 4) What insight and hope the Bible offers those who are hurting. 5) What it feels like to be with a group of people who truly understand.
We're not experts. We're not counselors. Just people, like you, who've lost someone we love. We know what it feels like to grieve - and heal. We want to share that with you. We hope you'll join us.
