Welcome to GriefShare at Good Samaritan Church! When you sign up to participate in this 13-week seminar and support group, you will discover a safe place where God will bring healing to your hurting heart. Through each session, you'll learn important truths about grief and how it impacts your life. Even more valuable will be the topics and discussions that will help your Christian faith to be your most important healing resource for your journey through grief.

The primary facilitator, Pastor Marta Poling Schmitt, is a retired ELCA pastor whose husband of 36 years died ten years ago. She knows how valuable this group is to anyone who has lost a loved one to death...naturally, through disease, by suicide or violence. The co-facilitators are Jim Luedtke, an experienced grief group facilitator and widower of 23 years, and Diana Barraza, a widow of four years. Come and experience the relief, support, and healing that God wants to give you through this very tough season of your life.
