Join us for an All Saints Sunday Dinner and Concert hosted by MDUMC pastors and staff. Together, we’ll explore practical strategies for navigating the holiday season amidst grief, surrounded by others who understand and support you. You'll find solace knowing you're not alone on this journey.
Following dinner, we will gather in the sanctuary for a moving concert featuring Samuel Barber’s Adagio For Strings and Dan Forrest’s Requiem For The Living. Requiem For The Living is designed to “form a narrative just as much for the living, and their own struggle with pain and sorrow, as for the dead”. Led by Dr. Stephen Martin, this performance with chancel choir, string orchestra, woodwinds, and harp, offers a profound narrative of hope and remembrance. During the concert, there will be moments to light candles in memory of loved ones who have passed. Childcare is available upon request.
