Lincoln Community Church GriefShare

We welcome all of you to our 13 week Grief Share sessions. We are so happy that you are looking into, or taking this important step to reach out for supportive help over your loss. Our mission is to help those who have suffered the loss of a spouse, parent, sibling, friend or any other loved one, to heal and be able to move on in their lives. We do this by using video presentations from trained professional grief counselors, and encouraging participants to share with each other their experiences. And through this, new friendships and bonds are formed.
The sessions are led by our Associate Pastor Jody Shorkey, and Cheryl Kane. Cheryl is a past participant of the grief share program who lost her husband about a year and a half ago. By going through this program, Cheryl was able to find peace and healing in her life, which in turn gave her a heart to help others who find themselves in the same situations.
Workbooks that will be used in the sessions will be available at the church office for only $20.00 each. You do not need to be a member of, or have any affiliation with Lincoln Community Church in order to attend the sessions.
